Working with a local advertising agency, I transformed current print ads into animated banners for their homepage. This allowed for a multi channel experience targeting potential customers and driving them to open an account.

Lowe’s Home Improvement

Ratings and Reviews, Questions and Answers

Working on the Lowes.com core tools team, I worked closely with a social monitoring vendor to revamp Lowe’s Ratings and Reviews, and Questions and Answers areas. The updated design allowed customers to easily view pros and cons of products and provide customer feedback. This enabled customers to narrow down their product selection and find the exact item they’re looking for based on feedback from other users’ purchasing history.

Hero Templates

Working on the Lowes.com core tools team, I worked with merchandising and marketing teams to design templates for hero ads. The template designs achieved business goals and messaging, while at the same time allowing for flexibility and freedom for the creative team. The templates established an advertising system that is easy for the customer to recognize special values and promotions. Internally they allow for Lowe’s to easily make style changes through CSS to allow for ads to change as the site evolves.

Alcan Composites

Design Concept

While working at LGA in Charlotte, Alcan Composites approached us in need of restructuring their entire suite of product sites ranging from Foam-Cor to Gatorfoam. The goal of the project was to create a system of website templates that would easily work for the wide assortment of products. The concept I created allowed the client to leverage their marketing campaigns and incorporate them into the site as the imagery. It also coordinated the different color themes to match the range of products.

With her first book on the cusp of publication, Elaine Griffin, a celebrity interior designer from New York City wanted to redesign her website to showcase her work. I crafted a simple, yet elegant design. I worked with Elaine to simplify her site and focus the spotlight around her breadth of work and new book, Design Rules.

UNCC Charlotte Football

Watch the Video

While working for LGA in Charlotte, NC, UNCC Football approached us about creating a testimonial video to help gain support for bringing college football to Charlotte. Working with our team, we came up with this concept of “Pro Football”. The video was successful in rallying current fans and attracting supporters for bringing UNCC football to Charlotte. My role in the project was to design and animate the lower 3rds animations as well as the transition screens and ending of the video. I also worked closely with Limerick Studios to edit the footage.

Email Templates

Working closely with email marketing, merchants and marketing teams, I developed updated email templates for a suite of Lowe’s emails. Ranging from promotional to how-to emails, the templates offer more engaging content, featured products and special values. These templates significantly increased sales on lowes.com, driven through email marketing.
